In just a few days, we will be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, a time for intentional gratitude and a time we share with family and friends. It is also a time of giving — thinking of those in need.
For many, Thanksgiving might mean a traditional turkey meal topped off with pumpkin pie at the end. However, there are others in our community who may not know where their next meal is coming from.
Did you know?
Harvesters and City Union Mission are just two of the organizations in our community whose purpose it is to help those in need. There are many others.
For us, every year, the Nash & Franciskato team along with James Legal Services conducts an annual Coat Donation for the homeless in Kansas City at City Union Mission. It is one way we give back to our community.
Thanksgiving provides us with an occasion to stop and say “thank you.” But we hope this feeling of goodwill lasts more than a day or a long weekend. Why not spread it out throughout the year, into the upcoming holidays and beyond?
From everyone at Nash & Franciskato, we hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
