The first trial date has been set for Exactech consolidated hip, knee, and ankle lawsuits in the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida for November 6, 2023. The Hon. Donna Keim has prioritized moving this docket along quickly. Setting the first trial date for a little more than a year from now demonstrates her commitment to this goal.
Previously, co-lead counsel won arguments to move all Florida Exactech hip, knee and ankle cases into a consolidated master case in the district.

Brian Franciskato was named a member of the Plaintiff Steering Committee for the consolidated Exactech lawsuits in Florida’s Eighth Judicial Circuit for recalled hip, knee and ankle implants.
A Plaintiff Steering Committee (PSC) includes attorney members of the State Court consolidated proceeding in Florida who are appointed to lead the common interests of all plaintiffs. Specific duties for members of the PSC will soon be determined.
